π . . . pi . . . [3.14] . . . SAYS: I want this first entry here to be subtitled, "10 letters, 10 letters, 10 letters, 10 letters, 3 letters, 1 letter, 4 letters..." why ? because of the mnemonic devices people use to memoize digits of pi . . . read this, from my link # 2 page cited below, "Poe, E: Near a Raven is a pi mnemonic that encodes the first 740 decimal digits of the constant pi. This extreme example of constrained writing bears a remarkable similarity to the content, rhyme and tone of Edgar Allan Poe's famous poem, The Raven. The digits of pi can be recovered from the words in the poem as follows:
If the length of the word, n is less than 10 letters then the next digit in pi is n.If the length of the word, n is exactly 10 letters then the next digit in pi is 0.If the length of the word, n is greater than 10 letters then the next two digits in pi is n."

and because "10 letters, 10 letters, 10 letters, 10 letters, 3 letters, 1 letter, 4 letters..." would then translate to, "zero, zero, zero, zero, three, one, four" . . . so this is blog entry number / # '0000314' . . . how 'appro-pro' for a blog titled 3fourteen, written by a chick called π . . . or pi . . . or three point one four . . . or pook . . . or whatever . . .
