I got your last letter (dated 8-10) just the
other day. I got a *new address, just
rented a P.O. box from a postal store (in August)
& pre-paid 6 months rent on it, so from now

put all my basic stuff (clothes, music, etc.)
and my cat (JasperIlena) in my car (blueberry)
Wed. August 1st, stayed at Hain's & on
Thursday August 2nd I hit I-10 west...
had dinner in L.A. with Drea, and then
drove up to San Francisco. I wasn't able
to get ahold of Erik Ackerman, who I
usually stay with there, and most my
other bay area friends were doig some
traveling of their own, plus I was nearly
broke & in a hurry... so, I ended up
just sleeping in my car for a few hours
in the city, and then continuing the drive
early (Friday/8-3) morning... I got in (page one)
